For the SRS prompt:
Any femslash ship. Character A receives help from her fairy godmother (Gabriel?) to sneak out to the ball. There, she meets and falls in love with the princess, but is a bit clumsy and ends up losing a shoe on her way out. The princess finds the shoe, and makes it her mission to find the woman it belongs to (and they re-unite and live happily ever after together forever). Graphic and mini-ficlet under the cut.

Bela couldn't help but feel a little overdressed next to Joanna; though the blonde girl was a princess by blood, she wasn't nearly as decked out as Bela's fairy godfather had made her out to look. A simple black dress with her hair in curls was apparently all the princess needed to look stunning for the ball. Bela had gone all out, complete with a necklace of diamonds and her hair coiled and curled to perfection.
Joanna was eyeing the diamonds now as they sat together at an empty table while the other royalty and lords/ladies danced to the orchestral music. "Those are lovely," she commented with a small smile. "They really light up your face."
Bela blushed and ducked to look at the table. "Thank you, Your Highness. They were my mother's."
"Were?" Joanna had caught the past tense.
"She passed away soon after my birth. I never knew her."
"I'm sorry to hear that." She genuinely did sound sorry, as though Bela's burden were her own. "It must've been difficult, growing up without a mother."
"Oh, my father remarried," Bela rushed to correct the princess. "But, you know...it's not the same."
"Of course not."
They sat in silence for a little while longer, with Bela eyeing both Joanna and the dance floor, gathering up the courage to ask her: "I'm not sure what protocol is here, but...would you like to dance with me, by any chance?"
Joanna stared at her. "Two ladies dancing?"
"U-Unless you'd rather not draw attention..." Bela added, faltering for a moment. How embarrassing! And in front of the princess, no less. She started fiddling with the napkin on the table, trying to find somewhere to place her sudden rush of nerves.
But Joanna was already rising from her seat and offering her hand to the brunette. "Let's show them how real ladies dance."
